Thank you, Pakistan. Thank you, Asim Munir; thank you very much. You turned a divided group of people into a single nation. And those people who had been enemies of one another for a long time, who were not willing to tolerate each other, many of whom used to chant the slogan "Kashmir will become Pakistan," and many others who spoke of an independent Kashmir.
Rescued from confusion
Those people who were divided across different ideologies, different political parties, different communities, different regions, and different religious sects, you turned them into a single nation in a very short time. Thank you very much! We were suffering from a lot of confusion. We thank you for rescuing us from this confusion.
No honorable Kashmiri among us, no patriotic Kashmiri, chants the slogan "Kashmir will become Pakistan.
We have now become one nation. Now none among us speaks of accession to Pakistan anymore. No honorable Kashmiri among us, no patriotic Kashmiri, chants the slogan "Kashmir will become Pakistan." Yes, a few of your sycophants, a few such facilitators there surely will be, who, for their personal interests, for their petty interests, sacrificing national interests, will chant the slogan "Kashmir will become Pakistan."
Majority becomes one nation
But know this: the majority of Kashmir, the majority of Kashmir, has now become one nation. Thank God! And thank you, Mr. Asim Munir! Thank you, Pakistan! You turned a mob, a divided mob, into a single nation. Thank you very much!

ہم ایک قوم بن چکے ہیں۔ اب ہم میں کوئی الحاقِ پاکستان کی بات نہیں کرتا۔ ہم میں کوئی بھی غیرت مند جو کشمیری ہے، محبِ وطن جو کشمیری ہے، وہ 'کشمیر بنے گا پاکستان' کا نعرہ نہیں لگاتا۔ ہاں، آپ کے کچھ چمچے، ایسے کچھ سہولت کار ضرور ہوں گے جو اپنے ذاتی مفادات کے لیے، اپنے حقیر مفادات کے لیے، قومی مفادات کو قربان کرتے ہوئے 'کشمیر بنے گا پاکستان' کا نعرہ لگائیں گے۔
کشمیر کی اکثریت ایک قوم
لیکن کشمیر کی اکثریت، یہ جان لیجیے، کشمیر کی اکثریت اب ایک قوم بن چکی ہے۔ اللہ کا شکر! اور آپ کا شکریہ عاصم منیر صاحب! شکریہ پاکستان! آپ نے ایک ہجوم کو، ایک منتشر ہجوم کو آپ نے ایک قوم بنا دیا۔ تھینک یو ویری مچ!
