اٹھو ذرا اٹھو ذرا رات نے پوچھا کب تک خاموش رہو گے؟ دل نے کہا جب تک سانس ہے ہم بولیں گے اٹھو ذرا یہ شہر سو رہا ہے اٹھو ذرا کوئی حق کھو رہا ہے جو آنسو مٹی میں گرتے ہیں چپ چاپ ان کی صدا بنو ان کا جواب بنو اٹھو ذرا دیکھا ہے ہم نے چہروں پہ سجے ہوئے نقاب میٹھی سی باتوں کے پیچھے کتنے خوفناک خواب کون ہے جو روشنی کو قید کرنا چاہتا ہے؟ کون ہے جو ہر زبان بند کرنا چاہتا ہے؟
