In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. I am Advocate Saad Ansari, a core member of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee, speaking to you from Rawalakot. I have just received documentary evidence regarding July 28th, when the local police in Mirpur opened direct fire on the unarmed citizens of Mirpur, martyring them—firing upon the youth who were protesting peacefully, firing bullets at the citizens of Mirpur; I was just reviewing the FIR of this incident.
I believe that this reign of oppression, tyranny, and fascism currently raging across the state, where the killers are putting the blame directly on the victims, so I address this to the Inspector General of Police, SSP Mirpur, DIG Mirpur, Deputy Commissioner Mirpur, and the entire government of Azad Kashmir: remember that times do not remain the same forever, and to these stooges who have infiltrated the local police and are showering bullets upon our people, I know the name of each and every person: on June 9th at Pul Manda, which SHO fired shots, and on July 28th, on whose orders it happened, and which specific operatives of the local police are roaming around acting like thugs.
A Peaceful Movement
I want to say that this is a peaceful movement; we have maintained our patience even today, we are advancing this movement with patience and restraint, and this is a movement for the basic human rights of the local people, and this climate of fascism that you have unleashed— backed by the officers and powers on whose behest you believe that you hold absolute control—the history of these officers is that they flee themselves, leaving you trapped behind to face the consequences.

God willing, we are hopeful because this struggle is a struggle for rights, a struggle for dignity, state identity, and regional recognition, and above all, a struggle for the fundamental human rights of the people here, not against any country, nor against any nation, nor against anyone's territory. So I strongly condemn the kind of actions that are being taken, and I would also make this appeal to the people of Mirpur, and note that today we have even witnessed a time when, for our people, the residents of Mirpur division were bringing aid for the people of Rawalakot, whether at the Dhareek sit-in, the women's sit-in, or at Umar Farooq Chowk—the sit-ins taking place here— bringing food and medicines for the participants of the sit-in, and our food was blocked by the Pakistani security forces, setting a living example of Yazid-like cruelty right here in Azad Kashmir.
Promise of Accountability
So I will say that the time will surely come, and there will be strict accountability, and this nation will surely hold every facilitator and every individual accountable who riddled the chests of its innocent children with bullets, and all those who violated the sanctity of homes and the privacy of the four walls; so, God willing, accountability will certainly happen, and it will be complete. جی بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم۔ سعد انصاری ایڈووکیٹ، کور ممبر جموں کشمیر جوائنٹ عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی راولاکوٹ سے آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوں۔ ابھی مجھے ڈاکومنٹری ایویڈنس ملا، 28 جولائی کو جو میرپور کے اندر میرپور کی مقامی پولیس کی جانب سے میرپور کے نہتے عوام کے اوپر جو سیدھے فائر کیے گئے، ان کو شہید کیا گیا، پرامن احتجاج کرنے والے نوجوانوں پر، میرپور کے شہریوں کے اوپر جو گولیاں چلائی گئیں، اس کی ابھی ایف آئی آر میں دیکھ رہا تھا۔
تو میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ یہ جو ظلم اور جبر اور فسطائیت کا جو بازار اس وقت ریاست کے اندر گرم ہے کہ قتل کرنے والے جو ہیں وہ مقتولوں کے اوپر ہی جو ہے وہ الزام دھر رہے ہیں، تو میں مخاطب ہوں گا آئی جی پولیس سے، ایس ایس پی میرپور سے، ڈی آئی جی میرپور، ڈپٹی کمشنر میرپور اور پوری اس آزاد کشمیر کی حکومت سے کہ دیکھیں وقت ہمیشہ ایک جیسا نہیں رہتا اور مقامی پولیس کے اندر جو یہ دلال گھسے ہوئے ہیں جو ہمارے لوگوں کے اوپر گولیاں بھی برسا رہے ہیں، مجھے ایک ایک شخص کا نام پتا ہے کہ جس نے 9 جون پل منڈا کے مقام پر کس ایس ایچ او نے گولی چلائی اور 28 جولائی کو کس کے آرڈر کے اوپر جو ہے اور کون کون جو ہے وہ مقامی پولیس کے کارندے جو ہیں وہ وہاں بدمعاش بنے پھر رہے ہیں۔
بنیادی حقوق کی تحریک
تو میں سمجھتا ہوں کہ یہ پرامن تحریک ہے، ہم آج بھی ہم نے صبر کا دامن جو ہے وہ اپنے ہاتھ میں رکھا ہوا ہے، ہم صبر سے اس تحریک کو آگے بڑھا رہے ہیں اور یہ یہاں کے لوگوں کے بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی تحریک ہے اور یہ جو فسطائیت کا بازار آپ نے گرم کر رکھا ہے، جن افسران کی اور جن طاقتوں کی ایما پر آج آپ یہ سمجھ رہے ہیں کہ آپ سیاہ و سفید کے مالک ہیں، ان افسران کی تاریخ یہ ہے کہ یہ خود بھاگ جاتے ہیں اور پھر پیچھے آپ کو جو ہے وہ پھنسا کے جاتے ہیں، تو انشاءاللہ ہم پرامید ہیں کہ یہ لڑائی حقوق کی لڑائی ہے، یہ وقار کی، ریاستی شناخت کی، ریاستی تشخص کی لڑائی ہے اور سب سے بڑھ کر یہاں کے لوگوں کے بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی لڑائی ہے، نہ کہ کسی ملک کے خلاف اور نہ کسی قوم کے خلاف، نہ کسی کے جغرافیے کے خلاف۔
تو میں مذمت کرتا ہوں جو اس طرح کے اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں اور ہم پھر یہ گزارش کروں گا میں اہلیانِ میرپور سے بھی اور یہ بھی کہ آج ہم نے یہ وقت بھی دیکھا کہ ہمارے لوگوں کے لیے اہلیانِ میرپور جو ہے، ڈویژن میرپور جو یہاں کے اہلیانِ راولاکوٹ، دھریک دھرنا ہو، خواتین کا دھرنا ہو یا عمر فاروق چوک میں ہو، جو دھرنے یہاں لگے ہوئے ہیں، شرکائے دھرنا کے لیے خوراک اور میڈیسن لے کے آ رہے تھے تو پاکستان کی سیکیورٹی فورسز کی جانب سے ان جو ہماری خوراک ہے اس کو روکا گیا اور یزیدیت کی زندہ مثال جو ہے وہ اس وقت آزاد کشمیر کے اندر قائم کی گئی۔
ظالموں کا کڑا احتساب
تو میں یہی کہوں گا کہ وقت ضرور آئے گا اور کڑا احتساب ہوگا اور یہ قوم ہر اس سہولت کار کا، ہر اس شخص کا احتساب ضرور کرے گی کہ جس نے ان کے معصوم بچوں کے سینے چھلنی کیے، جن لوگوں نے یہاں کے گھر اور چادر اور چار دیواری کا جو ہے وہ تقدس جو ہے وہ پامال کیا، تو انشاءاللہ ضرور حساب ہوگا اور پورا حساب ہوگا۔ بہت شکریہ۔
