Hi everyone. This is Palestinian journalist Abubakar Abed from Gaza. I have lived 19 months of the genocide, which is still ongoing, and I'm sending this message to the Kashmiri people who are right now suffering under unimaginable circumstances, and their plight, of course, resonates with me and with what I have lived through in Gaza with my family. And I know what they are fighting for, I know their noble struggle, and I know that what they are going through should be reprehensible and something that the whole humanity does not accept at all.
Solidarity with Kashmiri people
So, my message, which is a message of solidarity to all people hearing me, is that the Kashmiri people will get their rights. We don't want to see them suffering anymore. These are Muslims like us, they're human beings like us, and they deserve freedom, they deserve human rights. And I call on every involved party to save the lives of Kashmiris.

I have seen some of the footage and some of the photos which have appalled me and torn my heart apart, and it is really deeply saddening for me that the people, the same images that I have seen in Gaza are happening somewhere else in this globe. We shouldn't go through this. None of us should go through this. Our demands are very simple.
Demands for human rights
They are just dignity, freedom, and human rights like anybody else across the globe. My love again and solidarity to all the Kashmiris, and I hope that the Pakistani government and all those parties involved will listen to them, will listen to their demands, and will listen to the peaceful protestors who are being killed from time to time to meet their demands and to give them the well-dignified life they deserve and the negotiations they have been long asking for. My love and solidarity again, and I wish you a very peaceful and great life, and better days to come.
سبھی کو سلام۔ میں غزہ سے فلسطینی صحافی ابوبکر عابد ہوں۔ میں نے نسل کشی کے 19 ماہ جھیلے ہیں، جو اب بھی جاری ہے، اور میں یہ پیغام کشمیری عوام کو بھیج رہا ہوں جو اس وقت ناقابلِ تصور حالات کی سختیوں کا سامنا کر رہے ہیں، اور ان کی یہ تکلیف یقیناً مجھ سے اور ان حالات سے ہم آہنگ ہے جن سے میں غزہ میں اپنے خاندان کے ساتھ گزرا ہوں۔ اور میں جانتا ہوں کہ وہ کس لیے جدوجہد کر رہے ہیں، میں ان کی عظیم جدوجہد سے واقف ہوں، اور میں جانتا ہوں کہ وہ جس صورتحال سے گزر رہے ہیں وہ قابلِ مذمت ہے اور ایسی چیز ہے جسے پوری انسانیت کسی صورت قبول نہیں کرتی۔
کشمیری عوام سے یکجہتی
چنانچہ میرا پیغام، جو مجھے سننے والے تمام لوگوں کے لیے یکجہتی کا پیغام ہے، وہ یہ ہے کہ کشمیری عوام اپنے حقوق حاصل کر کے رہیں گے۔ ہم انہیں مزید اذیت میں مبتلا نہیں دیکھنا چاہتے۔ یہ ہماری طرح کے مسلمان ہیں، ہماری ہی طرح کے انسان ہیں، اور وہ آزادی کے حقدار ہیں، وہ بنیادی انسانی حقوق کے حقدار ہیں۔ اور میں تمام متعلقہ فریقوں سے کشمیریوں کی جانیں بچانے کی اپیل کرتا ہوں۔
میں نے کچھ ایسی ویڈیوز اور تصاویر دیکھی ہیں جنہوں نے مجھے دہلا دیا ہے اور میرا دل چیر کر رکھ دیا ہے، اور یہ میرے لیے انتہائی دکھ کی بات ہے کہ وہی مناظر جو میں نے غزہ میں دیکھے ہیں، اس دنیا میں کہیں اور بھی پیش آ رہے ہیں۔ ہمیں اس صورتحال سے نہیں گزرنا چاہیے، ہم میں سے کسی کو بھی اس سے نہیں گزرنا چاہیے۔ ہمارے مطالبات نہایت سادہ ہیں، وہ بس دنیا کے دیگر تمام انسانوں کی طرح وقار، آزادی اور بنیادی انسانی حقوق ہیں۔
حکومت پاکستان سے اپیل
ایک بار پھر تمام کشمیریوں کے لیے میری محبت اور یکجہتی، اور مجھے امید ہے کہ حکومتِ پاکستان اور تمام متعلقہ فریق ان کی بات سنیں گے، ان کے مطالبات پر توجہ دیں گے، اور ان پرامن مظاہرین کی آواز سنیں گے جنہیں وقتاً فوقتاً قتل کیا جا رہا ہے، تاکہ ان کے مطالبات پورے ہوں اور انہیں وہ باوقار زندگی مل سکے جس کے وہ حقدار ہیں اور وہ مذاکرات ہو سکیں جن کا وہ طویل عرصے سے مطالبہ کر رہے ہیں۔
ایک بار پھر میری محبت اور یکجہتی، اور میں آپ کے لیے ایک پُرامن اور شاندار زندگی اور آنے والے بہتر دنوں کی تمنا کرتا ہوں۔
