Nowadays, you will see some people in various places across Jammu and Kashmir who have begun protesting under the banner of a peace committee and demanding the restoration of normalcy, saying that roads should be reopened, the lockdown ended, and markets opened up. If you look closely at these faces, they are the very same faces who, from day one, were opposed to the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee and stood firmly with the government, and the biggest point is that these people never wanted any such movement to take place; rather, they have always been seen extracting personal benefits from the ruling class.
At this time, they are making excuses such as our children's education is being ruined, our business community is heading towards destruction, and we are facing various other problems because the roads are closed and this lockdown is underway. But the question that arises here is, when the lockdown occurred during COVID, everything remained closed for an entire year back then, and students were promoted to the next classes without exams, yet if you look at the present situation compared to that, this was a much more important issue, where the public has risen up for their fundamental rights, and this movement of theirs did not just start today.
Mistakes made by the movement
It has been roughly three years. This movement has been running continuously for three years, and despite that, from June 5th onward, people have remained actively mobilized in the field right up to this day. Then what events took place in light of which these individuals have started taking advantage? Among these, the first point is that some mistakes were made by the people themselves, wherein roads were blocked in small villages across different areas, and people's movement to other places was severely disrupted.
Because of this, those people found an excuse to claim that the people of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee are blocking paths and creating trouble for the common public. The second point is that we know such a long movement has been going on, and the government has failed in one way or another. They used to claim about such movements that as soon as these people hold a sit-in or a long march, we will immediately crack down on them and crush it, but despite that, the government failed, and this movement has been running continuously for four months and is still continuing.
Government forming peace committees
Now what has the government begun to do? They are taking their own people, those who were previously active operatives and involved in all these state affairs— you could call them a sort of government agents— who were working on behalf of the government, and through these people, these peace committees are being formed and protests are being staged, so that if they could not directly sabotage this program and movement of the Awami Action Committee, then by indirectly generating internal opposition through these people, they can bring an end to these things through such means.
While acknowledging that localized road closures caused inconvenience, it was emphasized that the struggle for fundamental rights outweighs temporary setbacks.
Because of this, those people found an excuse to claim that the people of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee are blocking paths and creating trouble for the common public.
Therefore, all those people who have stood with this movement since day one, who understand the core issues and understand their demands, must oppose these peace committees. Because these peace committees do not stand for us; temporarily it may seem fine to you that roads open, and your livelihoods and routines are restored, but this movement that you have sustained for a long time, for which hundreds of young people were martyred, all of their sacrificed blood will go to waste.
Call to stand firm
And a movement like this will never be able to rise again. For this reason, always oppose these peace committees and stand firm with your movement for fundamental rights. Thank you!
آج کل تسیں جموں کشمیر اندر جگہ جگہ کچھ لوگ نظر آسن جیڑے امن کمیٹی دے نام اوپر پروٹیسٹ کرنے لگے نے اور اس چیزانی بحالی دا مطالبہ کرنے لگے نے کہ روڈز کھولیاں گچھن، لاک ڈاؤن ختم کیتا گچھے، بازار کھولے گچھن۔ اگر تسیں انہاں چہریاں کی غور نال دیکھ لے تے اوہو چہرے تھے جیڑے پہلے دن تو جموں کشمیر جوائنٹ عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی دے خلاف سے حکومت سنگ ہونے ہونے سے اور سب تو بڑی گل اے دی کہ اے لوگ پہلے تو اساں نئیں چاہنے کہ اس طرح نی کوئی تحریک چلے بلکہ اے ہمیشہ تو حکمران طبقے کولوں اپنے مفادات نکالنے لگے نظر آئے سے۔
اس ٹائم اے اس چیزاں کی جواز بنانے لگے نے کہ ساڈے بچیاں نی پڑھائی ضائع ہونے لگی نی ساڈا کاروباری طبقہ تباہ ہونے والا اے اور اس دیگر مسائل فیس کرنے لگے نے کیونکہ سڑکاں بندیاں اور جیڑا لاک ڈاؤن دا اوہ چلنے لگا اے۔ لیکن اتھے سوال اے پیدا ہونا کہ جدوں لاک ڈاؤن کرونا اندر ہویا تھا تے اس ٹائم تے پورے ایک سال اساں ساریاں چیزاں بند سیاں اور بچے کی بغیر ایگزام تو اگلی کلاساں اندر پروموٹس کیتا گیا تھا لیکن وہ چیز نی نسبت اگر اس ٹائم دیکھیا گچھے تے اے زیادہ امپورٹنٹ ایشو تھا کہ عوام دی جیڑی او اپنے بنیادی رائٹس واستے کھڑی ہوئی نی اور انہاں نی جیڑی تحریک دی کوئی اجے نی تے چلنی لئی۔
راستے روکنے کی غلطیاں
اس کی تقریباً تین سال ہوئے نے۔ تین سال تو مسلسل اے تحریک چلنی لئی نی اور اس نے باوجود ۵ جون تو انہی آج تک لوگ مسلسل میدانِ عمل بحال سرگرم تھے پھر ایسے کے واقعات ہوئے جنے نی پیش نظر اے لوگ فائدہ اٹھوانے لگے نے؟ انہاں اندر پہلی اے گل دی کہ کچھ غلطیاں لوکاں کولوں ہوئیانہ جنے اندر جگہ جگہ چھوٹے چھوٹے گاؤں وچ راستے روکے گئے اور لوکاں نا جیڑا نقل و حرکت سی دوجیاں جگہاں اوپر وہ تباہ ہوئی اے۔
اس وجہ سے لوکاں کی ایک جواز لبھیا کہ جموں کشمیر جوائنٹ عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی دے جیڑے لوگ تھے اے راستہ روکنے لگے نے اور عوام کی پریشان کرنے لگے نے۔ دوجی گل اے دی کہ اساں پتا اتنی لمبی تحریک چلنی لئی نی تے حکومت کسی نہ کسی طرح ناکام ہوئی ای۔ اوہ اس تحریکاں کی اے گل آخنی سی کہ جوں ای اے لوگ اچھی دھرنا دے لیں یا لانگ مارچ کر لیں تا اس فوراً ای انہاں کی کریک ڈاون کری ختم کری چھوڑساں لیکن اس نے باوجود حکومت ناکام ہوئی اور جیڑی تحریک دی مسلسل چار مہینے تو چلنی لگی نی اور ہالے وی چلنی لگی نی۔
حکومت اور امن کمیٹیاں
ہن حکومت کے کرنے لگی نی کہ اپنے جیڑے انہاں نے لوگ تھے، جیڑے انہاں نے سرگرم لوگ تھے پہلے تو انوالوڈ تھے انہاں ساریاں چیزاں اندر، حکومت نے تسیں آکھی سکنے او ایک قسم نے ٹاؤٹس سے اوہ اس جگہ اوپر حکومت کی سرگرمی تھے اور انہاں لوکاں نے تھرو اے امن کمیٹیاں بنارئیاں گچھنیاں لئیاں نے اور احتجاج کیتے گچھنے تاکہ کسی نہ کسی طرح اگر سدھے ہاتھاں سنگ او عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی نے اس پروگرام کی اس تحریک کی نہیں سبوتاژ کری سکے تو ان ڈائریکٹلی انہاں لوکاں نے تھرو اندرا مخالفت پیدا کرینگری تا اسنیا ذریعہ انہاں چیزاں کی ختم کیتا گچھے- سو تمام اوہ والے لوگ جیڑے اس تحریکاں سنگ پہلے دننے نے دے جیڑے بنیادی مسائل کی سمجھنے، جیڑے اپنے مطالبات کی سمجھنے لگے نے اوہ انہاں امن کمیٹیاں نی مخالفت کرا۔
اس وجہ سے لوکاں کی ایک جواز لبھیا کہ جموں کشمیر جوائنٹ عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی دے جیڑے لوگ تھے اے راستہ روکنے لگے نے اور عوام کی پریشان کرنے لگے نے۔
کیوں کہ اے امن کمیٹیاں ساڈے واستے کوئی نہیں، وقتی طور اوپر تو تسیں کی ٹھیک اے راستے کھلی گچھے، تسیں نا روزگار اور ساریاں چیزاں بحال ہوئی گچھیاں، لیکن جیڑی لمبے عرصے تو تسھاڑی تحریک چلنی لئی نی، جس چیز واسطے سینکڑوں نوجوان جیڑے او بھی شہید ہوئے، اساں نی انہاں نا جیڑا خون تھا او ضائع ہوئی ایسی۔ اور اس طرح نی جیڑی تحریک دی، او کدے وی دوبارہ نہیں اٹھی سکنی۔ اس گلا ہمیشہ انہاں امن کمیٹیاں نی مخالفت کرا اور اپنی جو بنیادی حقوق نی تحریک دی اس تحریک سنگ کھڑے روا۔ شکریہ!
