The state thugs have killed over a hundred protesters and injured more than 1,000. What terrible crimes have these protesters committed, you ask? Simply having the audacity to stand up and demand affordable living conditions.

گزشتہ دنوں اور ہفتوں میں، پاکستانی حکومت پاکستان کے زیرِ قبضہ کشمیر میں عوامی مظاہروں پر اندھا دھند فائرنگ کر رہی ہے۔ ریاستی غنڈوں نے سو سے زائد مظاہرین کو شہید کیا ہے اور 1,000 سے زائد کو زخمی کیا ہے۔ آپ پوچھیں گے کہ ان مظاہرین نے آخر کون سا سنگین جرم کیا ہے؟ صرف آواز اٹھانے کی جرات کرنا اور قابلِ برداشت حالاتِ زندگی کا مطالبہ کرنا۔
اس تحریک پر وحشیانہ جبر کے ذریعے، پاکستانی ریاست نے واضح طور پر یہ دکھا دیا ہے کہ اسے کشمیری عوام کی کوئی پرواہ نہیں ہے۔ وہ بہتر زندگی کی تمام تر امنگوں کو خون کی ندیوں میں غرق کر دے گی۔ اسی لیے ہم کہتے ہیں، تمام اختیارات عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی کو۔ پاکستانی حکومت کے ساتھ مذاکرات پر کوئی بھروسہ نہیں۔
