being here today. Obviously, we are gathered here today because we believe human rights should never depend on where someone is born. Whether you are Kashmiri blood or whether you are not, we are so thankful that you are here right now fighting for our brothers and sisters in Kashmir. Today, we stand in solidarity with the people of Kashmir, with every person whose basic rights, dignity, freedom, and voice deserves to be protected.
As Dr. Martin Luther King once said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
Whether that's Palestine, whether that's anywhere else, we here today are fighting for freedom of rights. As Dr. Martin Luther King once said, "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." And as our faith Islam teaches us the same principle, in Surah An-Nisa, Allah says, "Stand firm for justice as a witness for Allah."
